NetEnt is currently developing its very first Virtual reality game

Last week saw the start of Ice 2017 in London, which meant that we got to shower in news that is crucial for what the future of the industry may look like. Already a week before the ICE fair, we learned that NetEnt would share something that could permanently change the way we play, watch movies and interact with each other online-namely VR. 2017 seems to be the year when VR will really blossom and not least in the casino industry.

NetEnt + Virtual Reality = True

Last year was the official launch of Virtual Reality as it became available to consumers worldwide. For those who have read this far and do not really keep up with what we are talking about, it is a virtual reality, which means that you put on a pair of glasses and tilt so you are in a completely different world. If you touch your head, you will also do this in the game or movie you are watching. For a year or two, several game developers and film companies have opened their eyes to this fantastic technology and now it seems that it is finally starting to develop games for us casino players.

As you probably already know, NetEnt is one of the game manufacturers that is considered to be the big favorite of many players, so it is especially good news that they have begun to develop Gonzo's Quest , fixed in VR version. There are even some screenshots that point to the game Jack and the Beanstalk it is being developed in VR format. You may wonder why we are very hyped about this when there is only one(or possibly two) game title/titles (as we know today) that is being developed? We'll tell you. NetEnt is not alone in VR development

Last year we found out that the game maker Microgaming he was developing his first VR game. However, it is not a specific game title you want to develop, but a genre of games. At the time of writing, Microgaming is developing the first real roulette game in VR. The amazing thing about this one can guess is precisely that it is in VR. But then you guess wrong. The game is developed for the use of Leap Motion 3D sensors. This means that with normal hand gestures (without game control) you control what is happening on the table.
